Safe Schools

Thamesford Public School

2025-2026 Safe and Inclusive School Plan

Our school is committed to providing all students with a safe, caring, and inclusive learning environment free from bullying and harassment that promotes respect, acceptance, and empathy.

Staff, students, parents and caregivers, and community partners will work together as a team to help make our school safe and welcoming for everyone.

The Safe and Inclusive School Plan highlights some of the key actions that our school community will put in place as part of our bullying prevention and intervention efforts.

Key Priorities and Goals

This year we are focusing on building healthy relationships using restorative practice techniques.

We are doing this to help our students develop the skills to navigate conflicts constructively, contributing to a safe and positive school environment.

Key Actions or Strategies

1.    Guiding students in resolving peer conflicts in a constructive and respectful manner by continuing with Kindness initiatives, positive programs such as Buddies, Moment of Choice, Peer Collaboration, Peer Power, Thriving Thunderbirds, Family Connection days, and Character Trait program.

2.      Equipping students with strategies and common language to recognize, understand, and regulate their emotions and behaviours.

3.      Implementing Restorative Practices and Peacemakers into school culture.
